Plagman Barn Show Days are Approaching

Featured Tractor: The Massey Harris is the featured tractor this year with a 1949 44 Massey Harris being raffled off along with a complete set of 30 Show Days buttons.  Antique household and farm machinery will be on display & demonstrations daily from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.
Tour the Noack-Kickbush steam powered Grist Mill,  log cabin,  print shop,  antique display barn,  and other buildings.

For the kids: petting zoo, penny sand pile, country school house tour, and more.  A pedal toy tractor & wagon will raffled off Sunday at 4 P.M.
There will be plenty of good food in the Hamburger & Ice Cream stands, Caroline’s kitchen, Plagman Barn & other stands.
Friday September 16
  • Dave Poggenklass will play in the old Plagman Barn.
  • Soup, Sandwiches, pie & deserts, will be served Friday in the old Plagman barn & check out the other food stands.
  • The Friends of the Sherman Swift Tower will have short programs in the red barn.
  • See the many displays & demonstrations.
Saturday September 17
  • Breakfast will be served Saturday & Sunday from 6 to 9 A.M. in the hamburger Stand.
  • a Rodeo Fun Day starts at 10 a.m.
  • The horse pull that was on Sunday in past years,  will be Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
  • “Keeping it Country” will play traditional County music in the afternoon in Plagman Barn.
  • A parade & Short tractor ride will start at 3 p.m.
Sunday September 18th
  • A Kiddie Tractor Pull will start at 10 A.M. in front of Plagman barn.
  • The Antique Tractor Pull will start at 10 a.m.
  • Serving the popular Sunday chicken dinner will start at 11 a.m. in Plagman barn.
  • Church services will be at 9 A.M. in the Red Barn with Pastor Devin G. Bryant from the Living Water Bible Fellowship Church.
  • “The Unstrung Heroes” a  Dubuque area band will  play at the church service, and in the afternoon in the red barn.
  • Enjoy the music of “The Sounds of Nashville” in the afternoon in the  White Plagman barn.
  • All Raffle ticket winners will be drawn at 4 P.M., and you do not need to be present to win.

The Plagman Barn Country store will be open all three days.
Numerous flea markets on the grounds.
Admission: Adults – $6.00, children 5-10 years $3.00, & children under 5 free, and covers all three days.
