Last year I discovered the wonderfully professional services provided by Paul Trey and Ducky’s Window Cleaning Service. Paul does an amazing job of cleaning windows.   Window cleaning  is one of those artful cleaning jobs  I have found best left to the professional.

For many years,  I lived with unclean smeared windows because of my inept ability to clean windows, and my wrongly assumed theory that:
1) anyone can clean windows
2)window cleaning services are ridiculously expensive.

One day last year, after nearly a decade of frustrated attempts to clean our own hard to reach, hard to clean, high windows I,  in downtown Elkader,  where he was cleaning business windows, ran into Paul Trey, owner of Ducky’s Window Cleaning Service,  .   I asked him to quote us a price for cleaning the exterior of our home’s exterior windows, especially the high windows which up until then I attempted to cleaned from a fully raised tractor bucket (YIKES!).  His quote was so reasonable and the actual cost was even more affordable.

Shortly after our meeting we hired Ducky’s for the job.  For the first time, since our house was built in 2002, Ducky’s Window Cleaning Service  extremely efficiently, and expertly cleaned our windows for a fraction of what I thought it would take to pay an expert to do the job. They even, very afford-ably, cleaned several interior windows which I find particularly frustrating to clean.   The great thing about working with Paul Trey is what I have come to appreciate about working with other local small business owners; Paul Trey truly believes in high quality service, he enjoys his work, he is honest and fair as the day is long, and he is super friendly.
