The Friends of Pool 10 Mississippi river cleanup will be conducted on Saturday, April 19, from 9:00 a.m. to l:00 p.m. to pick up litter and debris. Pool 10 extends from Lock & Dam 10 located near Guttenberg upstream to Lock & Dam 9 located near Harpers Ferry. Participants will meet at Bussey Lake Landing in Guttenberg. A limited number of life jackets will be on hand so if you have your own, bring it along. Lunch and soft drinks will be provided. hi everyone
went down to the "brick city bar and grill" in clermont a couple weeks ago, on a thursday night.
went in for a couple of beers and thier famous, chicken and ribs. walked in the door and seen they had beef brisket sandwich for the special.
i sat down and had a beer, talked to the chef bill palmer about the brisket, he said give it a try. i got one to go with fries burned crisp like i like em. That was ONE DAMN GOOD sandwhich. very tender and tasty meat, the fries were made crisp like i like em, and damn i got to ask them about that bun that it was on,,,,one of the tastiest buns i've ever ate!!!! it might have been like a potato bun or something, and they grilled it just right.
but before you go and try one, you better call, because this might be one of those dreaded "for a limited time only" things.
enjoy the food and check out all the live music they have coming up there!!!!
VERY GOOD bands coming for the next 4 weeks!!!!!
