Mike and Lisa Valley host an unbelievable done right Fish Fry every Friday Night May through October. Friday after Friday people are sold on the homemade breaded deep fried Mississippi Catfish, Frog Legs, Walleye, Perch and Turtle and beer boiled Texas Golden Shrimp. You can dine in or carry out. The way it works is you mix and match the entrees you would like and pay for what you eat. The meal includes choices of potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, Rolls and Baked Beans. They serve you in the middle of their store or on two of their outside decks. Bring your cooler and enjoy a great meal in a neighborhood picnic like atmosphere. The Lakeview is one awesome spot perched over the Mississippi River’s, Gremore Lake. Open seven days a week year round. The Lakeview offers breakfast starting at 7AM Wednesday through Sunday. Probably best know for their Pizza anyway you want it. They offer a Spaghetti Special on Wednesday, Tacos on Thursday and Ribs of Saturday. This is also a pretty hopping nightlife venue especially during the boating season. Huge supporters of the Green Bay Packers the Lakeview offers a great spot to watch the game when you can’t see it in Iowa.
